Flows from Git

Flows from Git

Track flows that are version-controlled in an external Git repository.

  • Add a Git source
  • Browse flows in the repository and clone flows into Cuesta
  • Pull updates from remote
  • Branching, merging, committing, is done locally in your own environment

Every pulled flow knows where it came from

  • The flow editor has a new Git source tab
    • Shows the repository and where the flow is tracked from.

Tracked flows are read-only

  • A flow tracked from a repository is read-only in the editor
    • Edit anyway allows for urgent production fixes

Settings value origin

  • Resetting settings is more transparent
  • Resetting removes the key from the local .ini file
  • Settings menu tells you the origin of the setting (Local, Kwanza).

Flow anchors that are expensive to resolve

  • Flow anchor paths are now graded for speed: fine, risky or severe
  • The reasons are listed in a warning panel
  • A severe anchor cannot be added

Smaller things in Cuesta

  • Separate group selectors
  • New Application description

  • Field selector expansion user preference

Breaking changes

  • Secrets.reveal throws when a value cannot be decrypted

Before

const cipher = Secrets.reveal("wrong-key");
// wrong key: the encrypted value
// is returned as if it were the secret

After

try {
  const password = Secrets.reveal("wrong-key");
} catch (e) {
  ...
}

# Rendering slides locally For faster turn-around you may want to render the slides locally. First install: ```bash > mise install > just install ``` Then do ```bash > just dev ``` and open the generated `README.html` file in a browser. --- # Markdown About the markdown supported etc can be found at https://marpit.marp.app/ --- <style scoped> .red { color: red; } </style> # Plugins *[RTFM]: Read the friendly manual Emojis are supported 8-) :+1: And neat typographical replacements like `--` turning into -- and curly "quotes" via https://github.com/sireniaeu/markdown-it-typographer And abbreviations like RTFM can be defined through https://github.com/markdown-it/markdown-it-abbr And tags which can then be styled, e.g. `[*red*]{.red}` becomes [*red*]{.red} with the proper style tag on the slide via https://github.com/arve0/markdown-it-attrs
